Time Builder is designed for easy adoption and effective use by attorneys. In addition to directly integrating with existing time entry applications, it offers users a high level of configurability and control.
Time Builder automatically tracks timekeeper activity throughout the day by monitoring and consolidating information from common legal applications including email, calendar, document management, hand-held smart phones and voice-over-IP (VoIP) phone systems.
Time Builder regularly emails attorneys a journal report that intelligently rolls up activity information. It does this by cross-referencing attorney activity such as phone calls and email messages against CRM and financial systems to automate matter lookups. By doing so, it streamlines the review and time entry processes. By also presenting this information directly within existing time entry applications, Time Builder makes it easy for attorneys or their secretaries to review, edit and approve entries.
Through a web-based configuration interface, timekeepers can set Time Builder to send email journals daily, weekly or not at all. They can also set it to only monitor specific applications. Additionally, the application provides an exclusion list which can be used to ignore peripheral activities such as personal email messages and phone calls.
Users can configure the application to send journal reports via email or to present information directly through their existing time entry application (such as Elite WebView), enabling timekeepers to review, edit and submit entries through a single, consolidated interface they're already familiar with. Users can also review their activity logs directly through the Time Builder web reporting interface.
