Prior to joining Intapp in 2016, she was the Director of Risk Management at an AM LAW 100 firm where she led risk teams and strategy. Makaylia was a practicing attorney before specializing in law firm risk and operations.

James is the Customer Success Director for Intapp Intake, Conflicts, and Terms. James joined Intapp in 2012 following an extensive career in the legal field, having worked over 15 years at various firms including Squire Patton Boggs, Jones Day and Baker Botts. Throughout his time in the industry, James has focused upon the area of risk management with specialization in new client intake and conflicts management. During his tenure at Squire, James managed a team of over 80 risk professionals and undertook the implementation of firm-wide policies and practices for intake, conflicts, anti-money laundering, audit letter response, regulatory compliance, records management and docketing.
