Mark Brennan is the Global Lead Innovation Partner at Hogan Lovells, and is responsible for championing innovation in client service, new products, and legal innovation across the firm’s global business. An experienced advisor, Brennan is a respected voice on privacy and communications matters and advises clients on artificial intelligence, biometric data/facial recognition, Internet of Things and connected devices, the U.S. CLOUD Act, telecommunications networking, cloud computing, calling and texting laws, data breach, and other technology and consumer protection matters.
Brennan advises global internet and technology companies and household name clients in the financial, healthcare, pharmaceutical, government contracts, advertising, and automotive sectors. He receives dozens of requests each year to share his insights on telecoms, privacy, and consumer protection issues at marquee conferences. He is most well-known for obtaining significant victories for clients on privacy and Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) issues. Brennan also advises on other privacy and data security matters, including Section 5 of the Federal Trade Commission Act, the California Consumer Privacy Act, the FCC’s Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI) rules, CAN-SPAM, the Video Privacy Protection Act, the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), state data breach statutes, and more.

Matt Marchingo, Partner and Associate Director for Boston Consulting Group (BCG), specializes in major re-organization as well as shared services, service operations, and lean service operations with a strong emphasis on knowledge management, HR, and finance functions. He has led and worked on a number of global services design and implementation projects.
Marchingo led Digital Support Functions transformation for one of the largest law firms in the world. He digitalized the largest sports footwear and apparel order-to-cash process with SAP HANA FMS, creating global universal order, credit limit, and collection methods. He also established the largest sports footwear and apparel location footprint for the integrated marketplace and developed a paid subscription membership strategy.
Marchingo furthermore developed a global business services concept and detailed the design for the largest OEM in the world, resulting in $400 million in benefits. He led the shared services design and implementation for a global industrial goods company in the Middle East, extracting synergies of $250 million.
In addition to supporting a luxury retailer’s new global business services operating model, Marchingo led the shared services design and implementation for the largest education provider in Australia, helping 185,000 employees extract $400 million in savings over a 2-year implementation.
Marchingo delivered finance and HR shared services implementation for leading energy and utility businesses, driving FTE synergies of 25%. He led the IT shared service center design and implementation for a Singaporean utility firm and joint venture partner, which translated into $200 million in savings as well as an improved IT process and service delivery. He also redesigned a new lean and digital procurement organization for the largest government agency.
Marchingo has presented at industry events, including at the Shared Services Outsourcing Network conference, CHRO events in London, New York City, and the CogX Artificial Intelligence Festival. Prior to joining BCG, he worked as the project leader with Booz & Company, leading its operating model and organization design topics.
Marchingo completed his Master of Management at Monash University with an emphasis in strategy, operations, and systems thinking. He received his bachelor’s degree in multimedia business and computing, and received an executive diploma in artificial intelligence from MIT.
