User provisioning (lightweight)
Provisioning new users entering the firm requires coordination among a number of different groups. This provisioning process is built to quickly provide value to your firm without extensive development time for creating integrations with your systems’ back-end databases. Simply configure the notifications required for the type of hire (i.e., Partner, Associate, Staff) and when a new user is brought on, automatic notice will be distributed to those affected departments such as Conflicts, IT, Recruiting, Facilities, etc. Your customized notifications will direct these recipients as to what tasks must be taken, and acknowledgement of completion will be maintained in a centralized request.

User deprovisioning/leavers (solution 2)

The solution supports departure accommodations such as extended access to email, temporary email forwarding, etc. The solution also handles changes to departure dates and rescinded terminations (changes made post-termination are processed as a re-hire).
This solution is intended as an add-on to the User Provisioning/Joiners solution. Full user lifecycle management is available including name changes, office relocation, group self-service and termination.
Askew Network Solution’s user management solutions have processed several thousand user departures in law firms worldwide. Let our expertise work for you.

User provisioning (solution 3)
Generating request forms, tracking, reporting of various internal action items (e.g., office space, IT setup, business cards).
- Notifications of designated parties in the workflow, workflow transparency per step, completion checklists, reporting metrics with individual steps, department summaries, total cycle time
- Optional connections to Recruiting and/or HRIS systems
- Development time varies based on complexity and availability of source data

User provisioning (solution 1)
The departure of an employee requires coordination of effort around technology tasks, human resources, and sometimes an individual practice group. This workflow can be configured to provide notifications based on the role of the departing lawyer and the nature of their exit from the firm. Short-range tasks such as removal from the firm website, scheduling of exit interviews, and decommissioning their email account can be kicked off in concert with more long-term initiatives that may be required such as career counseling, follow-up with lawyers who have transitioned to in-house counsel, and review of nontransferrable email collections. A centralized request will manage the status of each of these tasks and their expected completion dates.

User lifecycle management
Solution for handling user lifecycle events other than joining and leaving. This is for “everything in between.” The solution supports user name changes, conversion from contract to regular employees (and vice-versa), Distribution Group Membership (mandatory and request based groups), Transfer to another office, etc. Integration is available to most HRIS systems.
This solution is intended as an add-on to the User Provisioning/Joiners solution.
