Judy Berman manages the Shearman & Sterling’s conflicts department as well as the firm’s new business intake process and records department. Recently, she has focused on information governance and data quality in the context of Shearman’s data analytics program. Berman previously worked as Conflicts Manager at Dewey Ballantine, and at Thomson West — first as a Westlaw account representative and later as an account executive. She began her career practicing law at Graubard Mollen Horowitz Pomeranz & Shapiro. Berman earned her bachelor’s degree in political science and history, summa cum laude, from Stern College for Women of Yeshiva University, and her J.D. from New York University School of Law.
