James is the Client Experience Director for OnePlace Risk & Compliance. James joined Intapp in 2012 following an extensive career in the legal field, having worked more than 15 years at various firms including Squire Patton Boggs, Jones Day and Baker Botts. Throughout his time in the industry, James has focused upon the area of risk management with specialization in new client intake and conflicts management. During his tenure at Squire, James managed a team of over 80 risk professionals and undertook the implementation of firm-wide policies and practices for intake, conflicts, anti-money laundering, audit letter response, regulatory compliance, records management and docketing.

AJ currently serves as the Director of Product for OnePlace Risk & Compliance at Intapp. In this role, AJ directs the product and engineering teams to build best-in-class solutions to provide value to lawyers while reducing law firm risk. With more than 8 years of experience in product strategy and launch, AJ has a deep understanding of UI and UX and how to collaborate across teams to deliver solutions with the best possible end user experience. AJ holds a bachelor of engineering degree from Mumbai University, and a master of information system management degree from Carnegie Mellon University.

Thomas Patteson is a lawyer and Manager of the Engagement Letter and Contracts Review team at Hogan Lovells U.S. Patteson heads a team of 10 lawyers and specialists who review and revise engagement letters, outside counsel guidelines, and law firm panel terms for all of the firm’s clients worldwide. Before joining Hogan Lovells, he represented the City of Louisville and Commonwealth of Kentucky in various civil matters. He was also a staff lawyer to Judge Irv Maze of the Kentucky Court of Appeals.
