Legal IT veterans join Intapp as company achieves record growth

PALO ALTO, Calif., August 13, 2015 – Intapp, a global leader in legal software, today announced the appointment of two legal IT industry veterans – Jake Laliberte and John Callahan – to its worldwide sales organization led by Intapp President Dan Tacone. The appointments are part of a broader expansion and re-alignment of the Intapp sales team.

Industry Veterans Join Intapp Sales Leadership
Jake Laliberte has joined Intapp as Vice President of Global Accounts, responsible for working with Intapp’s global law firm customers. He previously spent 15 years leading sales to large global customers at Elite, a Thomson Reuters company.

John Callahan has joined Intapp as Vice President of the North American Large Law Segment. Over the years, Mr. Callahan has held management positions at companies including Aderant, where he served as Vice President of Global Sales, and Elite, where he served as Director of Enterprise Segment Marketing for business intelligence solutions.

New Organization Focuses on Mid-Sized Law Firms
Intapp has created a new organization dedicated to the North American Mid Law Segment – including firms with up to 250 lawyers – under the leadership of Vice President Kelvyn Stirk. Mr. Stirk previously led sales in the Western US and Canada region for Intapp. Before joining Intapp in 2013, he held sales management positions at Omtool and OpenText.

Updates to Revenue Practice Group and Intapp Time
Intapp announced changes to its Revenue Practice Group, which is now led by Bryan Roberts. As Practice Group Lead, Mr. Roberts is responsible for continued growth in sales of Intapp Time software and services. Mr. Roberts came to Intapp as part of its acquisition of The Frayman Group (TFG) last year, and has served in a customer success role in EMEA. Prior to joining TFG, he held sales leadership positions at LexisNexis, Aderant and Lawson Software.

In addition, Director of Product Marketing Jill Nelson will take on the role of business manager for Intapp Time, bringing 12 years of experience in legal software and a strong background in analytics. Prior to joining Intapp in 2011, Ms. Nelson worked for LexisNexis, where she directed product management for the Redwood Analytics business intelligence product suite, and oversaw the delivery of financial and performance analysis services to law firms.

Expanding Focus on Professional Services Firms
Intapp has created a new organization focusing on professional services firms, in recognition of its growing customer base and market demand, particularly in the Accounting and Consulting segments.

Norm Mullock is now Vice President of Market Development, Professional Services. Norm has been with Intapp for over 5 years, most recently serving as the Practice Group Lead for the Revenue Practice Group. Before that, he was the Practice Group Lead for Integration, and also held strategic roles in Product Marketing. Prior to joining Intapp, Mr. Mullock, a co-founder of Redwood Analytics, spent more than a decade advancing the adoption of business intelligence solutions in both the legal and professional services industries.

Stuart Douglass has been named Vice President of Business Development for the Accounting and Consulting Segments. Mr. Douglass previously led the Intapp sales organization in the Eastern US Region, which doubled sales in FY2015. He brings over 22 years of experience to his new role, having worked with companies including Autonomy, Interwoven and Xerox, before joining Intapp in 2010.

“As Intapp enters a new phase of growth – following a tremendously successful year when we added over 55 new customers – it’s essential that we expand and structure our Sales organization accordingly to support a diverse and dynamic customer base. By growing our Sales team and creating new organizations to focus more specifically on Global Accounts, Large Law Firms, Mid Law and Professional Services, we’re well positioned to address the evolving needs of our customers,” said Dan Tacone, President, Intapp. “I am very proud of the All-Star worldwide sales organization at Intapp, as well as the strength of our Risk, Revenue and Integration Practice Groups, and look forward to working with the team as we continue to help our customers use technology to their strategic advantage.”
