Intapp’s Beth Cuzzone, Global Practice Group Leader, Marketing and Business Development, was quoted in the second part of reporter Justin Henry’s multi-part series on innovation at midsize firms. In it she asserts:
The legal services market is replete with law firms attempting to sell clients on their ability to staff matters at an affordable price. With competition over the delivery of legal services in a “scramble” right now, a pitch based on lower fees isn’t the differentiator that many law firm leaders may think it is. Just because you’re finding some efficiencies, that’s not innovation. Firms are saying we’ve found a lower price, but each of those in small steps is not innovation.
