PALO ALTO, Calif. and LAS VEGAS, Nevada, September 1, 2015 – Intapp, a global leader in legal software, today announced enhanced support for Microsoft products and services, including Office 365 and Surface Pro 3. The updates to Intapp Walls and Intapp Time demonstrate Intapp’s commitment to supporting Microsoft technologies, which is also part of a broader effort to support law firms in their mobile and cloud initiatives.
Intapp Walls support for Office 365
The latest release of Intapp Walls – formerly known as Wall Builder – features support for centralizing information security controls across Office 365. Intapp Walls is the most widely adopted information security management product in the legal industry, used by more than 200 organizations ranging in size from 35 to 4,200 lawyers. Intapp Walls 6.1 also features enhanced support for securing matters in Matter Center for Office 365 and document libraries in SharePoint Online.
“As law firms move to Office 365, the ability to control and secure access to client information is a main priority. Intapp Walls support for Office 365 provides firms with the confidence that they can manage and restrict access to client information across on-premises and cloud-based environments,” said Nishan DeSilva, senior director, Technology Solutions and Evangelism, Legal and Corporate Affairs, Microsoft.
Intapp Time support for Surface Pro
The latest release of Intapp Time now offers support for Microsoft Surface Pro – an increasingly popular device among law firms of all sizes. Intapp Time 6.3, certified for use on Surface Pro 3, offers a compelling option for firms that are encouraging lawyers to use mobile time entry and time capture via tablets and other devices. According to ILTA’s 2014 Technology Survey, Intapp Time is the most adopted mobile time entry software among large and mid-sized firms, with 68 percent of firms with more than 150 lawyers and 73 percent of firms with more than 350 lawyers using Intapp software.
“Enterprise mobility management is growing in importance for many law firms, and Intapp is actively helping firms transition to more mobile ways of working. Providing support for Surface Pro 3 is part of our ongoing commitment to providing lawyers with simple, intuitive tools on the devices they want to use,” said Laura Marino, vice president of product management, Intapp. “As firms explore new investments in cloud-based services, managing the confidentiality of client information is paramount, and we expect many CIOs will be pleased that they’ll now be able to extend Intapp Walls functionality to Office 365.”
