Intapp announces new experience management software, expands cloud offerings, and simplifies legal practice automation

PALO ALTO, Calif. and NATIONAL HARBOR, Maryland, August 29, 2016 – Intapp, a global leader in legal software, today announced that it will unveil several new innovations at this week’s ILTACON 2016 designed to help firms strengthen client relationships, enhance operational efficiency, and position their clients for success. In addition, Intapp announced that it has been shortlisted as a finalist for Innovative Solution Provider of the Year as part of ILTA’s annual Distinguished Peer Awards, in recognition of its long-standing contribution to state-of-the-art legal technology.

Intapp will be highlighting several new developments, including:

• A fresh approach to experience management. Intapp will share a first look at its new experience management system, which helps firms quickly identify lawyers and staff with relevant expertise and surface similar matters and engagements when responding to RFPs and assigning team members to new matters. Firms have traditionally relied on internal “word of mouth,” individual knowledge, or on legacy tools which provide only a partial view of who within the firm has training and experience in working across specific practice areas, industries, sectors, and types of clients and matters. Intapp accelerates business development, deepens client relationships, enables improved collaboration, and eliminates unnecessary legwork by helping firms make the most of information that already resides within their systems – filtering and ranking individuals with the knowledge and experience most relevant for addressing a client’s specific needs.
• Intapp portfolio of Cloud applications. Intapp has released the newest additions to its portfolio of cloud applications, which now includes both Intapp Risk & Compliance and Intapp Time. Cloud-based versions of the Intapp Risk & Compliance new business intake and conflicts management systems, are now available to early access customers. A cloud-based version of the Intapp Risk & Compliance terms of business management system is already available and in production at firms including Orrick. Intapp Time is also now available in the cloud, bringing together technology and features from both Intapp and Rekoop, which was acquired by Intapp earlier this year. Intapp cloud applications enable firms to take advantage of faster deployment and lower total cost of ownership, as well as the security benefits of cloud computing.
• Advanced task management features for legal practice automation. Intapp has released its latest version of Intapp Flow, featuring task management. Using Intapp Flow, firms can now easily create, assign and automate tasks for individual users or groups on an ad-hoc basis, or as part of defined workflows for legal practice automation (LPA) and business process management (BPM). Now adopted by more than 85 firms worldwide, Intapp Flow has emerged as the platform of choice for workflow management, including legal processes – particularly in high-volume, transaction- and data-intensive matters – as well as business processes managed by the IT, operations and finance teams.
