As Chief Value Officer, Christopher Ende leads Goulston & Storrs’ strategic initiatives relating to pricing structures, legal project management, practice innovation, and profitability analysis. Ende collaborates across all firm legal practices and professional departments to deliver increased value to clients through innovative fee arrangements, process improvement, and data analytics. He works directly with clients to deliver tailored pricing solutions and service delivery models that align incentives and facilitate successful outcomes. Ende draws on his knowledge gained as an in-house legal operations leader to effectively design win-win solutions.

Ende has deep experience in the business of law and brings a “voice-of-the-client” perspective to the firm. He previously led the outside counsel spend management program for a Fortune 15 company where he developed strategies to optimize outside counsel spend, including designing a preferred provider program, building an award-winning, custom application to drive data-driven selection of outside counsel, and designing metrics to measure performance and value. Ende also held a senior leadership position at an alternative legal services provider where he developed solutions for corporate legal departments to improve operational efficiency and reduce legal costs. Prior to those roles, Ende built and led the global pricing and project management program at an Am Law 50 law firm.

Eddie Hartman is a Partner at Simon Kucher’s San Francisco office. He specializes in developing high-growth revenue strategies, conducting effective go-to-market planning, and achieving recurring revenue excellence.

Hartman works with small “hypergrowth” companies and “unicorns,” as well as larger B2B corporations in the SaaS/n-sided market space. He also helps professional services firms optimize their pricing, including members of the Am Law 100. He is a frequent keynote speaker and is a regular lecturer at universities including Stanford, Yale, and Harvard. Hartman served as an internal editor of Simon-Kucher’s bestselling 2016 book, Monetizing Innovation.

Prior to joining Simon-Kucher, Hartman started and operated multiple companies with a total valuation in excess of $3 billion. This hands-on operational experience, combined with nearly a decade of international consulting, enables Hartman to integrate strategy, implementation, and feasibility into his project approaches.

Hartman received his bachelor’s degree in computer science and mathematics from Yale University. He earned a Master of Business Administration in finance and marketing from the Wharton School of Business, where he was designated a Palmer Scholar (the highest academic honor). He also received special certification in project management from the California Institute of Technology. The Founder Institute has recognized Hartman as a Global 40 mentor. A licensed attorney, he is a member of the California Bar and the Hague Institute on International Law (HIIL) Task Force on Justice.

Steve Chambers is a Pricing Manager at Fredrikson & Byron and is responsible for supporting the core pricing functions of the firm. Ranging from a broad strategic focus to narrow and tactical, those functions include industry analysis, firm-level rate setting processes, division- and department-level pricing initiatives, and client- or matter-specific pricing projects.

Prior to joining Fredrikson & Byron in 2017, Chambers worked for Thomson Reuters for 11 years in a variety of roles, most recently receiving supporting pricing strategy for core legal products in the large and midsize U.S. law firm market. He also spent 6 years supporting supply chain operations in an analytical role at Best Buy.

Chris currently leads the finance and operations solutions business at Intapp. With more than 15 years of experience in driving growth across a variety of web technology businesses and industries, Chris brings deep expertise in product management, marketing, corporate development, and strategic alliances. Prior to his role at Intapp, Chris served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Growth Officer at Mitratech, a provider of end-to-end solutions for information governance and data privacy. At Vista Consulting Group, Chris led product management strategy, planning, and operations for the Vista Equity Partners portfolio companies. Chris holds a bachelor of science degree in finance from Indiana University, and certification from Pragmatic Marketing.
