Warren Knowles

Warren Knowles is the Senior Director of Product Management at Intapp. He has been with the organization for 13 years. Knowles previously served as Practice Manager at OpenText and Technology Manager at Zelle Hofmann. He received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.

Alan Conway

Practice Group Leader, Operations and Finance

Alan Conway is the Practice Group Leader for the Operations and Finance Practice at Intapp in EMEA. Alan serves as a subject matter expert and advisor for both clients and the business, leveraging his extensive knowledge and experience working with dozens of firms on financial and operational projects. Prior to Intapp, Alan was a member of the management team at Rekoop, responsible for revenue growth, before its acquisition by Intapp in January 2016.

Pierre Gentin

Global General Counsel

Pierre Gentin is Global General Counsel of McKinsey & Company. He was previously a partner in the law firm of Cahill Gordon & Reindel, and a managing director at Credit Suisse in senior legal and risk positions. He also served in the U.S. Department of Justice as Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York.

Gentin is a trustee of the Practising Law Institute, the Touro Synagogue Foundation, and Princeton University’s Center for Public Policy and Finance. He has also served on many of the World Economic Forum’s global agenda councils.

Gentin co-edited a book on the mediation of complex financial services disputes. He has lectured for many years at law and business schools in both the U.S. and Europe, and currently teaches ethics at the Wharton School of Business. Gentin attended Princeton University and Columbia Law School.

Gareth Thomas

Practice Group Leader, Marketing and Business Development

Gareth Thomas, Practice Group Leader of the Intapp Marketing and Business Development Practice in EMEA has been working with law firms to deliver successful solutions in technology and innovation for over 20 years. In his role at Intapp, Gareth works closely with Marketing and Business Development leads within to align their growth requirements to Intapp OnePlace. Prior to working at Intapp, Gareth served as VP Sales in EMEA at OnePlace, Sales Director at iManage RAVN, and Sales Director at Tikit.

David Lubars

Chairman and Chief Creative Officer

David Lubars is the Chief Creative Officer at BBDO Worldwide. In the 16 years since Lubars joined BBDO as its creative lead, BBDO has received a significant number of awards, and wide-spread recognition for its creative work. For 14 years in a row, BBDO has been ranked as the world’s most awarded creative agency network. The agency was also named Network of the Year at Cannes a record-setting seven times.

In addition to these awards for creative work, BBDO was named the most effective agency network four times in the Effie Effectiveness Index. In 2019, the independent World Advertising Research Center (WARC) named BBDO the “Best of the Best” in its first-ever index of excellence, aggregating results from its Creative 100, Effective 100, and Media 100 rankings.

Lubars has personally won 200 Cannes Lions and five Emmys. His collection of BMW short films was the first-ever Titanium winner at Cannes, and is part of the Museum of Modern Art’s permanent collection in New York City.

Most recently, Lubars was inducted into The One Club Creative Hall of Fame and was honored with a Clio Lifetime Achievement Award. He has also been named one of the top 10 creative directors of all time by Forbes.

Nigel Riley

General Manager, Risk and Compliance Solutions

Nigel Riley leads the risk and compliance solutions business at Intapp. He is responsible for setting strategy and driving growth for Intapp risk products, which address the unique challenges facing financial and professional services firms. Prior to joining Intapp, Riley served as Chief Operating Officer of JP Morgan Chase’s global conflicts function, where he led strategic and technology initiatives. In all, he spent 15 years working in various technology and COO roles within JP Morgan Chase’s investment banking business in London, Hong Kong, and New York. Riley earned his bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Birmingham, and earned his certification from Pragmatic Marketing.

Scott Westfahl

Professor of Practice and Faculty Director of Executive Education

Scott Westfahl is a Professor of Practice and the Director of Executive Education at Harvard Law School (HLS). Within the school’s J.D. curriculum, Westfahl focuses his Executive Education teaching and writing on leadership and teams, design thinking and innovation, the motivation and development of professionals, fostering diversity and inclusion in legal organizations, and strategy and organizational alignment from a talent development perspective. He is a strategic advisor to the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity, and a founding and advisory board member of The Purple Campaign to prevent workplace harassment.

Westfahl joined HLS from the law firm Goodwin Procter LLP, where he served from 2004 to 2013 as the firm’s Director of Professional Development. Prior to his work at Goodwin Procter, Westfahl spent 6 years leading professional development for the Washington D.C. office of McKinsey & Company, and spent 10 years practicing business and regulatory law with Foley & Lardner’s Washington D.C. office. In 2008, Westfahl was chosen as one of five “Innovators of the Year” by the magazine Law Firm, Inc. for his development of a cutting-edge lawyer assignment system and database called iStaff, which effectively ties lawyer work assignments to their professional development needs.

Westfahl frequently lectures and comments upon leadership, talent development and design thinking, and innovation within professional services firms. He is the author of the book, You Get What You Measure: Lawyer Development Frameworks and Effective Performance Evaluations. He is also the co-author of The Leadership Imperative: A Collaborative Approach to Professional Development in the Global Age of More for Less, a groundbreaking proposal for a new, collaborative model of lawyer professional development, appearing in the Stanford Law Review.

Patrice Tanaka is a best-selling author, public speaker on business and life purpose, serial entrepreneur, and co-founder of 3 award-winning public relations and marketing agencies. She is also the co-founder of Joyful Planet, a consultancy focused on helping individuals and organizations discover and actively live their purpose to unleash greater success, fulfilment, and joy in their personal lives, workplaces, and communities.

Tanaka is the co-author of Beat the Curve and Performance360, in which she writes about life and organizational purpose. She is also the author of Becoming Ginger Rogers: How Ballroom Dancing Made Me a Happier Woman, Better Partner, and Smarter CEO, a book about her late-life passion for ballroom dancing and the lessons she learned. She has been honored by many organizations, including PRWeek (Hall of Fame inductee), Public Relations Society of America (Paul M. Lund Award for Public Service), New York Women in Communications (Matrix Award), Asian Women in Business, Working Mother magazine (Mothering That Works Award), Girl Scouts of Greater New York (Women of Distinction Award), among others.

Ralph Baxter

Director

Ralph Baxter joined the Intapp board in 2021. He previously served as a director of the Intapp operating subsidiary, Integration Appliance Inc., from 2016 to 2021. Baxter regularly advises law firms, legal technology companies, and corporate law departments on their strategies and execution and emerging models for improved delivery of legal service. From 1990 to 2013, Baxter served as Chairman and CEO of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, a leading global law firm, and launched numerous transformative initiatives during his tenure, including the creation of Orrick’s Global Operations Center in Wheeling, West Virginia, and changes in the firm’s talent and pricing models. Baxter is a member of the Legal Advisory Board of LegalZoom, a Senior Advisor and member of the Advisory Board of the Stanford Law School Center on the Legal Profession, a member of the Advisory Board of the Harvard Law School Center on the Legal Profession. Baxter received his bachelor’s degree in History from Stanford University and a J.D. from the University of Virginia.

Lisa Leong

Chief Executive Officer

Former corporate lawyer Lisa Leong is the host of the ABC Radio National show “This Working Life.” She is also CEO of Ohten APAC, helping professional services firms develop deeper relationships with their strategic clients. Leong considers her superpowers to be curiosity, creativity, and delivering key messages by way of song.

Leong draws on her broadcasting experience combined with human-centered design and mindfulness practices to bring a fresh approach to intentional conversations, called “Empathy Interviewing.” Her work and unique approach have been the subject of a Harvard case study as well as her TEDx talk, “Can Robots Make Us More Human?”

Leong is a graduate of the Customer Focused Innovation Program, offered through a partnership between the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design, also known as d.school. Leong received her bachelor’s degree in science and law from the University of Melbourne, and studied radio broadcasting at the Australian Film Television and Radio School.

Meg Block

Vice President, Risk Consulting

Meg is a recognized thought leader, bringing more than 25 years of management consulting experience to professional service firms. She joined Intapp in 2014 and began its risk management consulting practice, which focuses on risk-oriented process reviews and design of enterprise-wide risk management programs. Before joining Intapp, Meg was a shareholder at Baker Robbins & Company and a senior manager in the Price Waterhouse Law Firm Services Group.

AJ Ratnaparkhi

Director of Product, OnePlace Risk & Compliance

AJ currently serves as the Director of Product for OnePlace Risk & Compliance at Intapp. In this role, AJ directs the product and engineering teams to build best-in-class solutions to provide value to lawyers while reducing law firm risk. With more than 8 years of experience in product strategy and launch, AJ has a deep understanding of UI and UX and how to collaborate across teams to deliver solutions with the best possible end user experience. AJ holds a bachelor of engineering degree from Mumbai University, and a master of information system management degree from Carnegie Mellon University.

Michael Bierut

Partner and Senior Critic in Graphic Design

Michael Bierut is a partner in the New York office of the international design consultancy Pentagram, where his work includes brand identity, book design, packaging, and environmental graphics. His clients at Pentagram have included The New York Times, Saks Fifth Avenue, The Robin Hood Foundation, MIT Media Lab, Mastercard, Slack, the New York Jets, the Brooklyn Academy of Music, and Verizon. As a volunteer to Hillary Clinton’s communications team, Bierut designed the H logo that was ubiquitous throughout her 2016 presidential campaign.

Bierut has been a senior critic in graphic design at the Yale School of Art and a lecturer in the practice of design and management at the Yale School of Management. A book on his work —  How to Use Graphic Design to Sell Things, Explain Things, Make Things Look Better, Make People Laugh, Make People Cry, and (Every Once in a While) Change the World — was published in 2015 by Harper Collins. His collection of new essays, Now You See It, was published in 2017.

Jose Lazares

Senior Vice President, Product Management

Jose Lazares serves as the Senior Vice President of Product and Business Management at Intapp. A product marketing executive with experience building, delivering, and selling software and technology platforms that transform enterprises, Lazares possesses deep expertise in defining and communicating product vision, positioning complex technical solutions, creating innovative business models, building go-to-market programs, and evangelizing products to customers, partners, developers, and employees. Prior to joining Intapp, Lazares served as Senior Director of Product Strategy and Business Development for Cloud Software Platforms at Cisco Systems. He earned a bachelor’s degree in political economy from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Business Administration degree in marketing and supply chain from Harvard Business School.

Peter Scott

Senior Solutions Consultant

Peter Scott is a Senior Solutions Consultant at Intapp focusing on technology and platform implementation advice for legal, accounting, and consulting firms. Prior to joining Intapp, Scott worked at IRIS Software & Kronos Systems where he provided technical consultancy services.
