The Rainmaker Genome Project is really designed to answer a couple of questions about what makes top performing rainmakers or business developers in professional and financial services firms unique.
What is it that they do differently in terms of how they develop business? And whereas in other markets, B2B sales, for example, there’s been a significant amount of research over the last few years on that, it’s never really been done for professional and financial services.
So we set out to identify what it is that they do differently to develop business. I think is that it’s very tightly aligned with our value proposition in the market. We’re all about helping firms grow. I think the really interesting thing about the research is that it has turned conventional wisdom on its head.
